Weston brings more than three decades of experience in retail, having led strategic expansion plans at some of the sector’s most recognizable brands. Most recently, as Chief Executive Officer of Party City Holdings Inc. Weston led the transformation of Party City from an operations-driven wholesaler to the leading party supply retailer, improving customer satisfaction and store productivity despite pandemic challenges. He joined Party City in July 2019 as President of Party City Holdings Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Party City Retail Group.

Previously, Weston served in leadership roles for Petco, including as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2017-2018 and President and Chief Merchandising Officer from 2015-2017 and Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer from 2011-2015. At Petco, Weston drove a significant evolution of the business. By bringing pet wellness, new store formats and omnichannel capabilities to the retailer, he propelled the business to scale significantly during his tenure.

“We are excited to welcome Brad, a proven leader with a distinguished track record of transforming and scaling world-class retail companies,” said Erik Ragatz, Executive Chairman of At Home. “Brad’s customer-centric vision and purpose-led leadership approach align perfectly with At Home’s culture and mission to enable everyone to make their house a home. As we enhance and expand our business, inspiring customers with a disruptive offering of a broad and differentiated selection of home and holiday products for every budget, Brad is the ideal person to drive At Home forward in our next chapter of growth.”

“It’s an honor and privilege to join At Home, a unique and influential brand with a long runway for growth,” said Weston. “At Home’s legacy as a disruptive retailer, offering inspirational looks across styles and categories at compelling prices, remains a towering strength of the business. I look forward to working with the At Home team to build on the Company’s impressive foundation and unlock its tremendous potential in the home goods industry.”

Prior to joining Petco, Weston served as Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer for Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. Earlier in his career, Weston was Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager for May Merchandising Company and Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager for Robinsons-May.

Weston currently serves on the board of directors of Boot Barn Holdings, Inc. and Vera Bradley, Inc. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

The current members of At Home’s Office of the CEO – Jeff Evans, Jerry Murray and Ashley Sheetz – will continue in their roles as President and Chief Merchandising Officer; Chief Financial Officer; and Chief Operating Officer, respectively. Erik Ragatz, who has been serving as Executive Chairman, will move to Chairman of the Board of Directors.
