London, United Kingdom Aug 17, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - appCURE today released its volumes manager (volMGR) for VMware App Volumes. The appCURE team, with help from VMware, has developed the capability and flexibility to enable customers to migrate their applications to App Volumes, convert existing installers from SCCM to App Volumes, and also enable the MSIX app to attach images to work with App Volumes.
The appCURE volMGR enables clients to migrate applications over to App Volumes, and smoke tests the application in a single environment before moving to test and production. This type of automation can help IT save time and increase efficiency.
"We have been working with the VMware product managers and End User Computing teams to enable clients, partners, and managed service providers to understand the benefits of the new release of App Volumes; with the new appCURE volMGR tool enabling migration and conversion from packages where install media is available, and to use appCURE STUDIO to migrate applications to App Volumes where information or media is not available enabling faster projects to production, saving time and money." - Steve Horne CEO appCURE.
appCURE with this release has added the capability to deliver:
SCCM to App Volumes
Running capture to App Volumes
4000+ applications directly package into App Volumes
Off network VMware App Volumes capturing
