Washington, DC, District of Columbia – Simeone & Miller LLP is proud to announce that our 2024 Fall Scholarship, “Good Lawyers / Good People,” will be awarded to Isabel Behrendt, who is currently attending the University of Arizona. The “Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship” is given to students who aspire to use the law to achieve justice and make the world a better place.
Isabel Behrendt is an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and German, with a focus on Law and Public Policy. She submitted a moving written statement that highlights her passion for advocating for others in need and using the law to make a positive impact on her community.
To qualify for the “Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship,” undergraduate and law school students must submit a written statement, between 800 to 1000 words, or a video statement, between 3 to 5 minutes in length, describing the value of using the law to improve other people’s lives. Students can describe a past experience that motivates them, someone who inspires them, or their vision of what they would like to accomplish in the future. Simeone & Miller awards this scholarship twice a year during the fall and spring semesters.
