Data & Sons Releases Top 10 Economics Professor Rankings for 2018

DataAndSons.com has created a ranking system based on the number of publications economics faculty have had in the previous four years in the top four economics publications

Tampa, FL - August 13, 2018 /MarketersMedia/

Data & Sons is proud to announce their company has recently released its list of the top economics professors in the world for the year 2018. The rankings were developed by the staff focusing on what is becoming increasingly important for universities as well as the faculty and staff – publications in top-tier economics journals.

Even though most rankings are based on lifetime citations, promotion decisions and tenure, the ones released by Data & Sons are mainly driven by the total number of publications an individual has had in top journals in recent years.

“We developed our ranking system purely on the total number of publications economics faculty have received in the previous four years in the top for economics journals,” stated Data & Sons spokesperson Sean Lux, Ph.D. “Based on our methodology, we released our list of the top economics professors for the 2018 year.”

The list provided by Data & Sons a company known for helping buy leads, sell leads and buy leads online, includes the following professors ranked starting with number one: (1) Daron Acemoglu from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; (2) Xavier Gabiax from Harvard University; (3) Emmanuel Saez from the University of California, Berkley; (4) Patrick Kline from the University of California, Berkley;(5) Debraj Ray from New York University; (6) Amit K. Khandelwal from Columbia University; (6) Magne Mogstad from the University of Chicago; (6) Sendhil Mullainathan from Harvard University and the National Bureau of Economic Research; (6) Parag A Pathak from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; (6) Iavn Wering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and (6) E. Glen Weyl from Yale University.
