NICE Systems Completes the Sale of its COMINT/DF Military Intelligence Business Assets to ELTA Systems Ltd.

 

Ra`anana, Israel, April 1, 2004 - NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE), a worldwide leader of multimedia recording solutions, applications and related professional services for business interaction management, today announced that it has completed the sale of the assets of its COMINT/DF military-related business to ELTA Systems Ltd. ("ELTA"), a subsidiary of Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd. (IAI).

 

The assets sold include the intellectual property, fixed assets, inventory, and contracts related to NICE's COMINT/DF product line, which includes high performance spectral surveillance and direction finding systems that detect, identify, locate, monitor and record transmission sources. As previously announced, ELTA acquired these assets for $4 million in cash.
