(b) Effective December 31, 2010, Dale M. Hudson, Vice Chairman, retired as an executive officer of Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida ("Seacoast" or the "Company"). Mr. Hudson will continue to serve as a director of the Company’s Board of Directors and as a member of the board of directors of its principal subsidiary, Seacoast National Bank (the "Bank"). Mr. Hudson, age 76, became Vice Chairman of Seacoast in July 2005, after serving as Chairman since June 1998. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Seacoast, as Chairman of the Board of the Bank, and in various other capacities. Mr. Hudson is, and plans to remain, extremely active in the community and charitable organizations.
