TelevisaUnivision Presents the 2024 Edition of "Vota Conmigo" Campaign to Educate, Empower and Engage Eligible U.S. Hispanic Voters

Campaign Goal is to Drive Record Latino Voter Registration and Increase Turnout to 20 Million

TelevisaUnivision, the world’s leading Spanish-language media company, today announced the 2024 edition of Vota Conmigo (Vote with Me), the company’s non-partisan multiplatform campaign aimed at providing educational tools and resources to motivate every eligible Hispanic U.S. citizen to participate in the electoral process and cast their vote during this year’s election cycle.

Hispanic voters continue to be the most powerful, emerging political force in America. With 36.2 million eligible voters this year, the decisions made at the polls by Latino voters will shape the future of our country. A critical first step is activating these key constituents and empowering them to make their voice count. Leading third-party civic engagement and voter data experts project that more than 17 million Latinos are expected to vote in November1,2, marking a 15 percent increase from 2020. However, this data also indicates that our work is only half done. TelevisaUnivision is fully committed to bolstering voter registration through the Vota Conmigo campaign, striving to increase Latino participation to 20 million at the polls. This reflects the importance for Hispanics amid critical issues and agendas that will undoubtedly shape the Hispanic community for generations.

"In an era where Spanish-speaking Americans face a significant lack of in-language information and resources to facilitate their participation in our country’s elections, TelevisaUnivision serves as a respected community partner and trusted source of information and educational tools,” said Wade Davis, Chief Executive Officer, TelevisaUnivision. “Through our comprehensive 'Vota Conmigo' campaign, our mission is to leverage our reputation, reach and community resources to engage record numbers of U.S. eligible Hispanic voters, help them navigate the 2024 elections effectively and be fully empowered to make informed decisions at the polls.”

The Vota Conmigo campaign brings a strong track record to this year’s efforts, having delivered more than 700 million impressions across TelevisaUnivision’s television, audio, and digital platforms, which resulted in 1.4 million new Hispanic registered voters during the 2020 election year. Our goal is to significantly exceed this in our drive to 20 million Hispanic votes in the 2024 elections.

In 2024, the company is significantly increasing its Vota Conmigo outreach with bespoke content and educational resources available across all its platforms, as well as live, in-person activations engaging eligible Hispanic voters nationally, including:

  • Martes de Accion: Monthly multiplatform content takeover and activation partners across all TelevisaUnivision platforms monthly, on Tuesdays, from April 9th until Election Day, with special emphasis in September and October, including week-long takeovers for National Voter Registration Day and Vote Early Day.
