On July 27, 2006, Holly Energy Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”) issued a press release
announcing the Partnership’s second quarter of 2006 results. A copy of the Partnership’s press
release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein in its entirety.

the slide presentation accompanying the Partnership’s conference call on July 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM
EDT to discuss financial results for the second quarter, additional sources of organic incremental
EBITDA, current annualized EBITDA guidance and the status of 2008 projects.
