Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 29, 2007, DURECT Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“DURECT”), issued a press release announcing entered into a long term manufacturing and supply agreement with Hospira Worldwide, Inc. (“Hospira”) for POSIDUR™, DURECT’s post-surgical pain management investigational drug which is currently in Phase II clinical trials. A copy of DURECT’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
