On September 24, 2007, EchoStar Communications Corporation announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Sling Media, Inc., a privately-held digital lifestyle products company. The press release announcing this agreement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
