Item 8.01 Other Events
In a press release dated October 15, 2018, Ultralife Corporation (NASDAQ: ULBI) announced that it has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $8.3 million to supply its Vehicle Amplifier-Adaptors (“VAA”) and Mounted VHF Amplifiers to Thales Defense & Security, Inc., a global leader in the development, manufacture, and support of combat-proven, software-defined radio equipment, for the U.S. Army’s Leader Radio and other opportunities. Shipments are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2019.
