This category includes emission allowances futures that are exchange-traded and over-the-counter (OTC) derivative instruments such as generic swaps, forwards and options. | |
Level 3:

This category includes our energy derivative instruments whose fair value is estimated based on internally developed models and methodologies utilizing significant inputs that are generally less readily observable from objective sources (such as implied volatilities and correlations). Our OTC, complex or structured derivative instruments that are transacted in less liquid markets with limited pricing information are included in Level 3.
