Belle Vie, one of Southern Ontario’s most elegant and historic event venues, has officially announced a name change from Carnegie Hall to Belle Vie. This rebrand marks a strategic evolution that honours the venue’s rich heritage while positioning it more effectively for online visibility and continued growth in the wedding and events market.

“As beautiful and historically significant as the name Carnegie Hall was, it didn’t help people find us online,” said the Belle Vie team. “We needed a name that aligned with our brand story and could compete in a modern, digital-first marketplace. Belle Vie captures everything our venue represents—charm, celebration, and timeless style—with a name that’s as memorable as the events we host.”

The name Belle Vie, which translates to “beautiful life” in French, reflects the venue’s romantic aesthetic, all-inclusive offerings, and deep commitment to curating unforgettable celebrations. The change also supports Belle Vie’s search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy, targeting key online search terms such as “wedding venues Ingersoll Ontario” and “wedding venues near me,” ensuring more couples can discover the venue when planning their big day.

While the name has changed, the heart of the venue remains the same. Originally constructed in 1908 as the Ingersoll Carnegie Public Library with funding from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, the building was saved from demolition and transformed into an elegant event venue in 2019. Since then, it has hosted countless weddings, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, and memorials.

The venue accommodates up to 100 seated guests or 125 for cocktail-style receptions, with elegant catering, professional coordination, and modern amenities all included.
