FRISCO, Texas - June 20, 2024 - PRLog -- Ethos Education Group and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation proudly announce a groundbreaking partnership aimed at fostering character development in student-athletes and addressing critical social and emotional needs within educational settings. Spearheaded by two-time All-Star, Gold Glover, and Silver Slugger award-winner Marcus Semien of the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers, along with Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Hall of Famer Tim Brown, Super Bowl Champion Everson Walls, NFL Hall of Famer Mike Singletary, and former pro athlete turned entrepreneur Michael Davis, this collaboration marks a significant step forward in supporting the holistic growth and well-being of young individuals.

The partnership between the Texas Rangers and Ethos Education Group will profoundly impact students from Frisco ISD and Dallas ISD, providing them with invaluable learning resources and mentorship opportunities. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to participate in monthly Town Hall Meetings led by community partners, culminating in a career day workshop on September 3, 2024 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX, where they can explore various career paths and gain insights into the professional sporting world.

Established in 2014, ETHOS VILLAGE offers a curriculum based and customizable character development program designed to improve the educational experience by redefining success through a firm understanding of identity and self-value to build a foundation for good thoughts, good decisions, and big dreams. Over 20,000 students in Frisco and Dallas ISDs will have a chance to benefit from the year-round classroom and virtual curriculum which leverages the social worth of celebrity athletes and entertainers as a means to connect with impressionable youth.  Selected schools within these districts will have the opportunity to participate in weekly character and self-development workshops facilitated by Ethos Leaders and enhanced by virtual sessions with Ethos Champions, such as Marcus Semien, Mike Singletary, Tim Brown and Everson Walls.

Since December 2020, Marcus Semien and his father, Damien Semien, have actively engaged with parents and student-athletes by participating in monthly Town Hall Meetings and educational modules hosted on the ETHOS VILLAGE digital platform.  Topics covered will include the following: Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, NIL Management, Marketing, Relationships and Mental Wellness.
