Item 1.04 Mine Safety.

On March 13, 2018, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company (the “Company”), received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Calera Quarry in Calera, Alabama. The order was issued to remove a repairman observed in a screen discharge chute where no safe means of access or fall protection was present. No injuries occurred from this incident. The Company took corrective action with respect to this incident.
