Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 15, 2010, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (the "Company") announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.24 per share. The dividend will be payable on August 13, 2010 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 26, 2010. The Company also announced that it will host its quarterly conference call on August 3, 2010, to discuss the Company’s second quarter and year-to-date 2010 financial and operating results. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
