Representatives of Education Realty
Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) will be meeting with investors on November 11 and
12, 2009 at REITWorld™ 2009, NAREIT’s Annual Convention being held at the JW
Marriot Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona. Those discussions will
focus on the Company’s publicly disclosed business strategy and operating
results. The NAREIT Investor Presentation that will be presented during these
meetings with investors is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current
Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference. The Company believes
that certain statements in the information attached may constitute
