Global Entrepreneur and Speaker Lynnette LaRoche Leading by Example and Empowering 45+ Women on Reinventing, Redesigning and Rebuilding Their Lives
“I created This Woman’s Haus and MRC because I know firsthand the challenges and uncertainties that come with midlife transitions,” says LaRoche.

San Francisco, CA - June 26, 2024 - Personal and professional success has no age limit and can happen for women even after they pass the age of 45, as evidenced by well-known icons over 50 like Angela Bassett, Jane Fonda, Oprah, Viola Davis, Maye Musk, and Vera Wang.  However, everyday women in their 40s, 50s and beyond who have gone through a major life transition and/or are feeling stuck, lost or unfulfilled, can also reinvent highly successful lives and reclaim their sensual appeal, according to Lynnette LaRoche, an entrepreneur who experienced her own resurgence in her late 50s and is helping other women do the same.

The founder and CEO of This Woman’s Haus with one of the “houses” being the Midlife Redesign Collaborative (MRC), where the motto is “no limits, just live”, LaRoche, is a certified health coach and hypnotherapist trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She refers to herself as a life architect and created the company to help other women like herself, who were well-educated with successful multi-six-figure executive jobs, but who were feeling unfulfilled with their lives.

“I created This Woman’s Haus and MRC because I know firsthand the challenges and uncertainties that come with midlife transitions,” says LaRoche. “I’ve been in their shoes and understand the feelings of being stuck, unfulfilled and the weight of aging in today’s youth-obsessed society and I also know what it feels like to also lose everything and have to build it all back from zero,” she continued.

LaRoche believes there is a significant market for the services provided through This Woman’s Haus and MRC. According to a study by the National Institute of Health in 2017, women over 50 comprised over 17.2 percent of the total population, which equates to almost 1.4 billion women.   In this study of more than 1700 women, it was reported that these women struggle with the physical and psychological experience of aging (including body image). The study also indicated the struggles with the injustices, inequities, and challenges of aging; the importance of self-care; and women exhibiting an outcry for recognition for their major contributory roles in society.

Through personalized coaching sessions, workshops, and tailored group programs, LaRoche’s company offers an architectural approach to redesigning one’s life in this age group.  Her methods incorporate mindset and behavioral modalities to address the emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical aspects of successful transformation.

“My goal through the services offered at This Woman’s Haus, is to empower incredible women to step from behind the cloak of invisibility and to tap into their potential by excavating to the foundation of self so that they are able rediscover their passions and create a life they truly love from a holistic standpoint, like I did,” explained LaRoche. “I approach my coaching from a personalized psychological or philosophical point of reference, which begins with understanding the mindset these women may have,” she continued. “Many times, they feel ashamed of not living their ideal life and don’t want anyone to know, putting on a façade that everything is okay outside, but inside, they are falling apart mentally, emotionally and spiritually, which eventually manifests physically. My role is to facilitate this journey with the women as they rediscover self-confidence and rebuild a foundation of self-worth and love whilst igniting their passion to rise, reinvent and redesign the blueprint of a life without apology, for a future of joy and purpose as they live boldly and in alignment with their true purpose,” she said.

LaRoche has over 25 years of professional experience as a coach and trainer.  Her professional background also includes leadership roles in the biotech/biopharma industry for companies such as Amgen, Gilead and Abbvie.  She is a member of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Leaders of All Nations International, as well as the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs and served as a co-chair of its 2024 annual conference in June.

“As a life architect, I love that I have the opportunity to empower clients to break down the walls of old narratives and societal stereotypes on aging and build anew … serving as their unofficial muse,” said LaRoche.  “We want our clients to realize that midlife isn't a life sentence, but a spotlight for their next show, and it’s our mission to help women shatter the myths of age and limitation, by infusing the belief that the journey to fulfill your deepest aspirations doesn't have an expiration date,” she said.
