On December 17, 2009, American InterContinental University, a member of the Career Education Corporation network of universities, colleges and schools, issued a statement in response to the December 17, 2009 Alert Memorandum issued by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Inspector General concerning the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
