EXPLANATORY PARAGRAPH

This report on Form 8-K/A constitutes an amendment to the current report on Form 8-K filed on February 15, 2007. This amendment is being filed to correct typographical errors contained in Exhibit 99.1.  The correction is to change the second sentence of the third paragraph to read "For the full year of 2006, SonoSite reported net income of $7.2 million or $0.43 per diluted share compared with net income of $5.4 million or $0.34 per diluted share in the comparable period of the prior year" and to correct several other non-material typographical errors.  Accordingly, we are filing a new corrected Exhibit 99.1. 

Item 2.02		Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 15, 2007, SonoSite, Inc. issued a press release announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2006. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated into this current report by reference.
