Other Events.

On August 7, 2013, Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release announcing that on August 6, 2013 its wholly-owned subsidiary bank, The Farmers & Merchants State Bank, entered into a branch purchase and assumption agreement to acquire the Custar, Ohio branch office of Croghan Colonial Bank, based in Fremont, Ohio. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.
