Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 5, 2017, MaxLinear, Inc. (“MaxLinear”) issued a press release announcing the closing of its previously announced acquisition of certain assets and assumption of certain liabilities related to the G.hn business of Marvell Technology Group Ltd. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
