(b) Departure of Certain Officer.

Daniel H. Cushman's employment as the Senior Executive Vice President
and Chief Marketing Officer of Werner Enterprises, Inc. (the "Company")
ended on January 15, 2008. Mr. Cushman's employment with several of the
Company's subsidiaries also ended on that date.
The Company is not seeking a replacement for Mr. Cushman.
The Company reorganized its Sales and Marketing departments, and Mr.
Cushman's responsibilities were assigned to other senior personnel in those
departments.
