Denver, CO - August 27, 2024 - The Merge Media Academy proudly announces the graduation of its inaugural class from the Digital Media Fundamentals Program. This milestone event celebrated the achievements of students who received certification in various media disciplines.
The graduation ceremony featured inspiring words from the Advisory Board, media experts, community leaders, and the class Valedictorian, Jeremey Liebe. Students also shared heartfelt testimonials about their experiences.
Lynn Briggs, CEO & Founder of The Merge Media Academy, expressed her appreciation for the invaluable guidance provided by all involved. “We are excited for our graduates and dedicated to helping them launch their media careers. To that end, we are providing job placement within 12 months and equipping them with employment support tools such as professional websites, business cards, and coaching,” said Briggs. She also extended her gratitude to the media industry for offering internships and employment opportunities to the graduates.
Briggs further commented, “We expanded our educational reach this year by introducing specialized media programs to high schools and their students, including a podcast program and a social media program, soon to be launched. Our goal with these programs is to work closely with high schools to provide students with relevant real-time information and experience necessary to succeed in today’s work environment.”
Enrollment for the upcoming semester, starting on September 23, 2024, is now open for individuals aged 16 and above. Scholarship opportunities are available for eligible students. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the Merge Media Academy – Sonya Briggs Scholarship Program on their website.
