BEMIS SHAREHOLDERS VOTE IN FAVOUR OF TRANSACTION AGREEMENT
Amcor Limited (ASX:AMC) advises that Bemis Company, Inc (Bemis) shareholders, voted in favour of the Transaction Agreement between Amcor Limited and Bemis, providing for a combination of the two companies.
At a special meeting of Bemis shareholders convened on Thursday 2nd May 2019 in the United States, nearly 76% of shares outstanding were voted in favour of the transaction and of the votes cast, approximately 96% were in favour of the transaction.
