GRUPO TELEVISA ANNOUNCES IT IS IN
CONVERSATIONS IN REGARDS TO WIRELESS VENTURE
Mexico City, April 5, 2011 – Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. (“Televisa”; NYSE:TV; BMV:TLEVISA CPO) announced today that it is in conversations to explore the possibility of participating in a wireless venture in connection with Grupo Iusacell S.A. de C.V. (“Grupo Iusacell”).
At this time, no agreement has been reached between Televisa and Grupo Iusacell. There can be no assurances that any agreement will be reached, or the timing or terms of any such agreement, if one is reached.
