Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 12, 2010, Helmerich & Payne, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release stating it expects the recently announced Venezuelan devaluation to impact its second fiscal quarter of 2010. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
