Colbeck Capital Management (“Colbeck”), today announced its ongoing support of Homes with Hope through sponsorship of the 2024 Stand Up for Homes with Hope event. The fundraiser, which will gather members of the community for a night of stand-up comedy, will be held September 28 at the Quick Center for the Arts in Fairfield, Connecticut.
For over 40 years, Homes with Hope has been providing essential services to the most vulnerable members of the Fairfield County community. The agency’s efforts to prevent and end homelessness in the area include emergency shelter for men and women, supportive housing for individuals and families, rapid re-housing, diversion services, a community kitchen, food pantry, youth development programs and mentoring. Individualized case management plans provide sustainable solutions so that every client can achieve and maintain an independent life.
In 2023, Homes with Hope served 1,198 individuals and families, and the backing of sponsors like Colbeck enables Homes with Hope to continue playing a vital role in helping at-risk members of the community. This year's event will feature comedian Dustin Nickerson, known for his regular television and Sirius XM Radio appearances, as well as his podcast "Don't Make Me Come Back There” and Amazon Prime special, "Overwhelmed."
