He founded five startups, including Cylance, the fastest on record to $100 MM in ARR (annual recurring revenue), and acquired for $1.5 B in 2019. McClure was Global CTO for McAfee/Intel; Deputy CISO for Kaiser Permanente and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.

He is the lead and founding author of the cybersecurity hacking book, "Hacking Exposed."
