While total knee replacement surgery is well-established, this new technique uses advanced AI analysis tools to enhance the surgical planning, and to provide every patient with a custom rotational alignment that was not possible with traditional techniques. In patient reported outcomes, TWIS-TKR is reported to feel more stable and natural, with less post-operative discomfort.
This new technique is available to all patients, though they should be aware that it may require one or several additional clinical visits to collect the required AI analysis.
