New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - June 21, 2024) - Josh Kesselman - founder of HBI International and RAW Rolling Papers - has announced that RAW Giving has surpassed a significant donation milestone of $3 million, with a total of over $3.1 million in contributions to various causes. This year alone, RAW Giving has contributed to various causes to give back to those negatively impacted by the War on Cannabis.

RAW Giving is the name given to Kesselman and HBI's charitable efforts. RAW Giving achieved this major milestone after a series of donations in 2024. These included $100,000 to the Weldon Project, an organization that aids people serving prison time for cannabis-related offenses; $50,000 to Home Fur Good, a no-kill animal shelter; $100,000 to Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS), an emergency shelter program; and Sky's the Limit, a nonprofit providing one-to-one support, business resources, and startup grants to underrepresented entrepreneurs and people in need.

The most recent round of donations by RAW Giving follows a lawsuit brought by Republic Tobacco, who were ordered to pay RAW nearly $1.5 million in jury awards and interest. Kesselman then promised to donate the net amount received to relevant organizations following the company's victory in court. Josh Kesselman personally vets each of RAW Giving's donations to help ensure alignment with the organization's current top goal: to better the lives of those who have been negatively impacted by the War on Drugs.
