May 9, 2023 - Hockley, TX - DRP Chemicals, a producer of biological wastewater treatment products, is searching for five wastewater treatment plants that would like to take part in their six-week free trial treatment.
The product to be used in the trial is DRP Chemical’s DRP Accelerator™, their flagship commercial wastewater treatment product. DRP Accelerator™ is used in wastewater treatment systems to reduce solids (by up to 50%), eliminate odors to relative zero (you must be standing over it to smell it), and eliminate the production of harmful and corrosive H2S gas.
It is environmentally safe and so NON-toxic it is approved by NSF for use around food production. It is important to note that it is also not just a simple bacteria or enzyme treatment solution. The company calls it a bio-accelerator.
The free trial program is available for five systems in total. As of this writing, three slots are still available.
Trial Treatment Program Details
“This is about metrics. We know the product works so there’s no question about that. This program is about documenting metrics before and after treatment with DRP Accelerator™ and publishing those results,” says Chris Denny, CEO of DRP Chemicals.
There truly is no cost to the participating treatment plants. In exchange for the free treatment – and the improvements it brings to their system -- they simply agree to openly provide metrics and measurements related to their system’s flow rate, solids, power use, odors, and H2S levels before, during, and after treatment. The results of the trial will be published in white papers and promotional materials.
Ideal Candidates
The ideal trial systems are somewhat smaller municipal plants or lift stations in the United States with daily flow volumes of 500,000 gallons or less. Lagoon systems are also invited to be part of the program.
The systems must have a clear problem to solve. That is, they are combatting strong odor issues, dangerous H2S gas levels, organic solids control, or a combination of these.
How to Apply for the Trial
System Directors or Operators interested in participating in the trial program should contact DRP Chemicals via their website at https://drpchemicals.com/wastewater-trial-program/.
