NETANYA, Israel, December 16, 2004. Matav-Cable Systems Media Ltd. (Nasdaq & TASE: MATV) announced today that on December 15, 2004 the Israeli Controller of Restrictive Business Practices has issued an amendment to its previous approval of the merger of the three Israeli Cable Companies from April 2002 (as amended in December 2003), whereby granting an additional extension of the merger approval until January 29, 2005.
