On August 13, 2010, due to serious illness, Charles Ying resigned as a member and as the Chairman of the Board of Directors (the “Board of Directors”) of Bitstream Inc. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

Upon Mr. Ying’s resignation, the Board of Directors appointed Amos Kaminski, a long-standing member and former Chairman of the Board of Directors, as the successor to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
