          This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends the Form 8-K filed by Flowers Foods, Inc. with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 23, 2009, as amended by the Form 8-K/A filed by Flowers Foods, Inc. on January 11, 2010, by supplementing the disclosure as follows:

Item 5.02.		Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

          On February 16, 2010, the Board of Directors of Flowers Foods, Inc. appointed David V. Singer to serve on the audit and finance committees of the Board of Directors.
