Prior to joining Boenning & Scattergood, Mr. Cardenas served for nine years as a Senior Research Analyst at Raymond James Financial, where he was responsible for providing equity research coverage on financial institutions primarily located in the Midwest and Southeast. Mr. Cardenas started his career in equity research in 1993 at Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, where he developed and led the equity research efforts for the firm for close to 20 years. Earlier in his career, he was an Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
