Dr. Cameron K. Martin Named President of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions

RMU continues 24 years of success with visionary leader bringing educational acumen, exceptional leadership, innovative solutions

The Board of Trustees of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) announced today that Dr. Cameron K. Martin has been selected to serve as the second president of the University, effective January 1, 2023. Martin had previously served as vice president of operations and chief of staff at RMU.

Martin brings vast experience in higher education to the Office of the President. Before joining RMU in 2020 as VP of operations and chief of staff for RMU Founding President Richard P. Nielsen, Martin served as vice president of University Relations, assistant to the president, and alumni director at Utah Valley University. He also worked as an associate commissioner in the Utah System of Higher Education.

President Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree in public administration, and a doctorate in educational leadership, all from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Julie Kerr Martin, have three daughters.
