Stride, Inc. Announces the 2024 Career Connect Webinar Series to Help Students Explore Career Opportunities with National Employers

Stride, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of online and blended education programs, announced today that K12 will hold a 2024 Career Connect webinar series featuring industry-leading employers. Through these webinars, K12-powered students nationwide can learn about on-demand careers, explore career paths, and apply for internships and jobs. Participating companies include AgCareers and Publix on March 28 and CVS Health on April 4, with more to be announced soon.

Hiring managers and company representatives will discuss how to search, apply, and interview for job opportunities during each online event. Students will also learn about typical career paths within each company and what skills they can expect to build as an employee. In addition, there will be an open discussion portion in which students can ask questions and interact with company representatives.

Stride Career Success Coaches will be available to assist students after each webinar through group coaching sessions, offering tips for preparing a resume, interviewing successfully, and being a standout candidate for desired employment opportunities.

The 2024 Career Connect webinar series will be hosted on Pathful, a workforce readiness system that integrates college and career exploration, work-based learning, and employability platforms.

“We are excited about the possibilities this partnership with Pathful will bring to students as they explore the role that science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM) play across multiple career pathways, including agriculture and the food industry,” said Dr. Sherri Wilson, Director of Partnership Development and Career Pathways. “These events are a fantastic way for our students to hear directly from leading brands as they consider and explore careers, internships, and employment opportunities, and is just one of the many ways Stride helps prepare students for life after graduation.”

K12 students can get additional help in preparing for college and their career by visiting Stride’s Career Services Center or College Prep Center. For more information on Stride, Inc., visit K12.com.
