To travel to Spain, U.S. travelers will need to be fully vaccinated or have proof of recovery from COVID-19 within the past six months; for children between ages 12 and 18, a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours will suffice, and for those under 12, there are no testing or vaccination requirements.
China’s entry restrictions are a bit steeper than many other countries, as travelers will need to present both a negative PCR test and a negative antibody test taken within 48 hours of arrival, as well as proof of vaccination. Similarly, U.S. travelers to Germany will need to be fully vaccinated.
On the other side of the spectrum, the United Kingdom has lightened its entry restrictions drastically. U.S. travelers no longer need to fill out a passenger locator form or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Likewise, Mexico allows visitors to enter their country without showing proof of vaccination or negative test results. However, travelers should be aware that they may be subjected to a health screening upon arrival, such as a temperature check.
