Dr. Ruey Ryburn's “Poems on the Path,” an Anthology of Heartfelt Poems, Has Been Relaunched

By: WebWire

“Poems on the Path” is a collection of poems that speak to readers' hearts. Dr. Ruey Ryburn included 38 heartfelt poetries in the book, along with photographs taken by Kauakea Winston.

She suffered from an unpleasant marriage and had to care for a sick child while struggling with the notion that the entire reason she went into nursing—to serve God—was being stymied by bureaucratic demands. She found peace in total surrender at this turbulent period in her life. She knelt and prayed for God to show Himself to her. She soon found herself at a women's spiritual retreat, where she was assigned the task of journaling about her goals and then putting together a compilation. As Ruey began writing, the words just gushed out of her. “How do you define dreams?” she wrote, but she felt a newfound sense of hope and purpose as she continued to write. Her imagination and the tip of her pen began to produce poems that touched the souls of those who read them.

Ruey Ryburn expresses her feelings and the contents of her heart uniquely. Her poetry is brilliantly presented, and it can move those who read it. The Flowering, her first spiritual poetry, was written alongside her daughter Mindy (in spirit) and is one of the most unique contributions to the collection.

Ryburn continues to learn more about herself and her healing abilities. Ruey is a Brennan Healing Science trained practitioner, and she operates the Sacred Path Healing School in Honolulu, where she maintains an active healing practice.
