Japan megabanks’ profit reported to triple

Japan’s trio of ‘megabanks’ — Mitsubishi UFJ, Mizuho Financial and Sumitomo Mitsui — are reportedly set to post a combined net profit of at least $12.4 billion for the April-September period, roughly three times the result for the same period a year earlier.
