Philly Fed Factory Activity Index Soars in November

Factory activity in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region grew much more than expected in November, a survey showed on Thursday. The Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank said its business activity index jumped to 22.5 in November from 1.0 in October. Economists had expected a reading of 5.0 – CNBC
