December Pending Homes Sales Up 2%

The index of pending home resales increased 2 percent to to 93.7 from a downwardly revised reading of 91.9 in November, figures from the National Association of Realtors showed today in Washington. Economists polled by Reuters had expected pending home sales to rise by 1.0%.
