AARP® Visa® Card from Chase Empowers Customers to Make Every Purchase Count

Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), today announced the launch of its enhanced AARP® Visa® Card from Chase, the only credit card endorsed by AARP, that offers cardmembers the ability to earn cash back rewards and combat the growing problem of senior hunger in America with every purchase.

Chase is increasing cash back on all travel-related purchases to 3 percent. There are no limitations on redeeming for cash and customers can start earning points with their first purchase. On top of the 3 percent on travel, cardmembers will continue to receive a full 1 percent cash back on every purchase – with no tiers, no caps, and no annual fee. The AARP® Visa® Card from Chase has also made a commitment to donate $0.03 for every purchase made with the credit card, up to $2 million each year, to Drive to End Hunger, a national campaign led by AARP and AARP Foundation to end hunger among older Americans.

"This year the AARP® Visa® Card from Chase is offering more benefits to our cardmembers, including a stronger and simpler cash back program,” said Emelie Calbick, general manager, Chase Card Services. “And, through Drive to End Hunger contributions, we’re giving cardmembers a simple way to make a difference every day.”

The enhanced AARP® Visa® Card from Chase enables customers to:

  • Earn Unlimited Rewards: Earn 3 percent cash back on every eligible travel-related purchase and 1 percent cash back on all other purchases. Chase makes it easy on cardmembers by rewarding them with simple redemption options that include cash, gift cards, statement credits, AARP Foundation donations, and an annual AARP membership.
  • Dedicated Customer Service: Access personalized customer service with the touch of a button. Rest easily with support 24 hours a day over the phone from U.S.-based agents.
  • Added Protections: Shop worry-free and know your card stands behind you with price, purchase, return, and extended warranty protections. These protections provide cardmembers not only financial protection, but also the confidence that they are shopping smarter and will be satisfied with their credit card purchases.

The AARP® Visa® Card from Chase is the only credit card endorsed by AARP – an organization that provides meaningful resources and benefits to its members and all people over 50.

Chase is proud of its 20 year relationship with AARP and offers the AARP® Visa® Card from Chase exclusively to AARP members. To learn more, please visit: www.aarpcreditcard.com.
