The fruit of seven years of full-time research and writing, James Gleick’s The Information: A History, A Theory, A Flood is the most comprehensive book written, to date, about information. An amazing erudite and yet highly readable account of why and how information plays such a central role in all our lives, Gleick’s The Information is amongst the most profound books written about technology over the last few years. So it was a huge honor to have Gleick, who has also written award-winning books about Isaac Newton, chaos, speed, and Richard Feynman Richard Feynman, come into our New York City studio to talk about why he believes that both human beings and the universe ARE information.
