Obama Backs New Debt Plan That Doesn't Raise Taxes

President Obama backed a plan by Senate Majority Leader Reid to avert a debt-limit crisis by trimming $2.7 trillion of spending without raising taxes. House Speaker Boehner quickly dismissed the Reid plan as full of "gimmicks."
