PR Log - Jun 29, 2012 - ST. LOUIS, MO June 30, 2012--Mike Carter released a sample of his Saturday June 30th robo call today. It will play statewide around noon.
In the robo call, Carter invites voters to http://www.MikeCarter.com to opt-out of future robo calls and check out his Ron-Paul leanings.
"I have always sent these calls out at the least intrusive time I could think of -- around noon on Saturdays -- that way voters get most of them by voicemail or answering machine. I also keep them to no more than 15 seconds in duration. So, along with the easy opt-out on our website, it is as interactive and voter sensitive as can be," said Carter.

Carter is the only candidate to ever establish a political do-not-call list. Voters simply visit http://www.MikeCarter.com and click the Do Not Call button and they are on their way. He says that implementing such a specific political-do-not call list statewide may pass the necessary constitutional muster that would allow voters to truly put political calls to a stop. "For now, the calls are a sort of equalizer for candidates of lesser means," said Carter.
Carter is an Independent-minded Republican candidate who has cast votes for Ross Perot and Ron Paul. He is a former judge, real estate attorney, Senior Lecturer for the University of Missouri, corporate counsel, and Director at the St. Louis Board of REALTORS. He supports Ron-Paul politics, non-partisan elections, advocates smaller government, abolishment of irresponsible spending, and a ban on unnecessary governmental intrusion into the private lives of citizens.
