U.S. debt limit extension bill moves to vote in House

WASHINGTON, Jan 23- The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday began considering a Republican measure to extend the U.S. debt limit for nearly four months but many Democrats vowed to oppose the measure, calling it a gimmick that sets up a new "fiscal cliff."
