Earnings Preview: Gold Miners, Apple, And Aerospace Report

After a week of both hits and misses, the second quarter earnings season is well on its way and the week ahead will be filled with yet another round of reports. Last week, beverage giant Coca-Cola (KO) reported weaker-than-expected sales, while Goldman Sachs (GS) posted earnings per share of $3.70, well past the $2.82 estimate. Continuing the trend of stellar bank earnings, Morgan Stanley (MS) exceeded both earnings and revenue forecasts.
