After three years of powerful economic expansion before 2008, the Great Recession caused the revenues of many American companies to plunge to multiyear lows. While sales at most big companies have rebounded to prerecession levels by 2012, sales plummeted at a small number of companies. Here are some of America’s greatest shrinking companies.
